I work as a psychologist in private practice from Bismark Street Family Practice, located at 3 Bismark Street In Loganholme on Monday's and Wednesday's (morning to early evening). I am also located at Parfrey Place Medical Centre at 196 Parfrey Rd in Rochedale South on Tuesday's (morning to early evening). I work from a home office on Thursday's where I offer telehealth appointments during the day. I charge $200 per session, which last approximately 55 minutes. Clients with a Medicare mental health care plan receive a $96.65 rebate. Alternatively private health rebates may be applied. People experiencing financial hardship, may be referred to me via the Wesley Mission Queensland Psychological Therapies Program, Domestic Violence Program or the Suicide Prevention Program:(speak to your G.P. regarding eligibility for a referral) -in this case no out of pocket expenses occur.

About

I have over 20 years of experience working within and with community sector mental health support programs: both government and non-government agencies. I commenced in private practice as a sole practitioner in mid-2010, and have worked full time within this role since this time. My approach as a psychologist is to provide an approachable, kind and respectful therapeutic environment for people to grow and evolve through the provision of helpful, considered mental health options and strategies. I am particularly skilled in supporting people with mental health concerns emanating from workplace issues (WorkCover-adjustment to injury, bullying and harassment issues); as well as anxiety disorders, anger management and depressive disorders. I primarily work with clients aged 10 years and older. I have worked in suicide prevention, psychological therapies and domestic violence government funded programs since 2011. I have also enjoyed working as a couple's counsellor since 2010 and have a particular interest in relational issues.
